I am a graduate of King University in Bristol, TN, where I earned a BA in Economics. After working 35 years as a retail store manager through which, I facilitated the buildout of new stores, and existing fashion stores. My leadership gifts included team-building, merchandising, and overall operations. I worked my way up in these organizations, eventually serving in corporate buying offices as a Merchandise Analyst and eventually as an Associate Buyer. I left retail in 2013 accepting a position as "Director of First Impressions" for a real estate company. Later, I worked as Executive Assistant to the President of a regional property management company. I am now retired and I focus on health and vitality, adventure traveling, and painting. I am an avid reader and I love being a "Dog Mom" to our dachshunds Tyson and Oscar, and spending time with my love, Eric.
I am a graduate of the University of the South (Sewanee) where I earned Masters degree. I am also an alum of East Tennessee State University where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. I retired from ministry in 2022, and I now working as a Pilot for an on-demand carrier and fly the Embraer Phenom 300 (9 passenger jet) . I serve as a military chaplain in the Civil Air Patrol (USAF Auxiliary), serving as as Deputy Chief of Chaplains and holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. My career took several turns over my life. I worked for 10 years as a Retail Corporate Buyer, and left retail to pursue a career in aviation in 2001. After completing my training and working as a full-time flight instructor and business owner, I soon accepted a calling to ordained ministry. After seminary and ordination to the priesthood, I served for nearly two decades in ministry (mostly in Diocesan calls),. In 2022, I retired from ministry after serving as "Canon to the Ordinary" for the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma. We now live in our home state of Florida, where I am flying the friendly skies, and Terri and I are building our travel consulting business, "Chasing Our Dream Travel."
